What are the field requirements and defaults for inventory import?
The answer given may not be applicable in all areas of the site or may refer to features available only to some users.
Field requirements:
- Item name is the only required field
- All other fields are optional
Field defaults:
- If Acquired (date) is left blank, it will be set to the current date
- If Quantity is left blank, it will be set to 0
- If a Category value does not already exist, it will be created automatically
Note: Images and receipts cannot be imported and must be added manually after import.
