What happens to my data when importing from Golden Arrow Version 3?
The answer given may not be applicable in all areas of the site or may refer to features available only to some users.
Golden Arrow automatically converts Version 3 data to the Version 4 format, but some structural changes occur:
- Version 3 used a single table for Rounds and Sighters; Version 4 uses separate tables
- Golden Arrow creates new Match entries for each Round using the Round name (e.g., a Round named "York" creates entries in both the Rounds and Matches tables)
- You should edit the Matches table entry to be more descriptive
- Multiple Rounds in the original data are preserved, but multiple Match entries will also be created
- Score data from double rounds are summed into a single score line
