Incorrect Classification

This page explains how to resolve a classification mismatch where Golden Records shows a lower classification than the Archery GB tables indicate the score should have earned.

The Problem

You've entered a score that should qualify as Bowman according to Archery GB tables, but Golden Records is showing it as Archer instead.

How to Fix It

Step 1: Check if the score is marked as a practice score

Under the current Archery GB classification system, Bowman classifications cannot be obtained from practice scores. If your score is set to "Practice" status, this explains why it's not being recognized at the correct level.

Step 2: Change the score status if needed

When entering the score into Golden Records, make sure the score status is set to something other than "Practice". You have these options:

Competition — for formal competitive events
Club Event — for organized club shoots that aren't formal competitions but are shot under competition-like conditions

Important: Only scores with a non-practice status will count toward Bowman classification under the current Archery GB rules.
