Managing Bow Classes

This page helps you organize the bow classes used to categorize scores and records in your archery system. You can view records for each class, archive or restore classes you no longer use actively, merge duplicates to keep your data clean, and add missing standard classes when needed.

Viewing Score Records for a Bow Class

To see all score records assigned to a specific bow class:

Locate the class in the list
Click the View records option next to that class

Archiving a Bow Class

Archive a bow class when you no longer use it actively but want to keep it in the system. To archive a class:

Click the button next to the class
The class will move to the archived view and no longer appear in your active list

Restoring an Archived Bow Class

If you need to use an archived class again, you can restore it. To restore a class:

Switch to the Archived view
Click next to the class you want to restore
The class will return to your active list

Deleting a Bow Class Permanently

Use this option when you need to permanently remove a bow class from your system. To delete a class:

Click the red delete button next to the class
If scores are assigned to this class, you must either re-assign them to another class or delete them before the class can be removed

Tools for Managing Bow Classes

Merge Duplicates

Use this tool when you have multiple bow classes with identical values that should be consolidated. To merge duplicates:

Click Merge Duplicates
The system will combine all duplicate classes into a single entry
All associated scores and club records will automatically update to reference the merged class

Load Missing Classes

Use this tool to add standard bow classes that are not yet in your system. To load missing classes:

Click Load Missing Classes
Select the standard classes you want to add from the list
The selected classes will be added to your system
