This page shows you how to recalculate archer handicaps for a specific season. You'll use this when you need to update handicap values based on recorded scores, or when you want to recalculate starting handicaps using data from the previous season.

How to Update Handicaps

Select the season you want to recalculate from the dropdown menu.
Choose one of the two update options based on your needs (see below).
Click the corresponding button to start the calculation.

Choosing the Right Update Option

Update All Handicaps

Use this option to recalculate all handicaps for archers in the selected season. The system processes every handicap value based on all recorded scores throughout the season. Choose this when you need a complete refresh of handicap data.

Calculate Year Start Values

Use this option to recalculate only the starting handicaps at the beginning of the season. The system determines these values based on scores from the previous season. Choose this when you need to adjust opening handicaps without recalculating the entire season.

What Happens During Calculation

When you run either calculation, the system performs the following actions:

Recalculates handicaps for the selected season and all subsequent seasons of the same type up to the present day — not just the season you selected.
Reassesses starting handicaps based on the previous season's performance data.
Runs the calculation in the background — you can wait for it to complete or navigate away from the page and continue working.
